BRASS

Jewellers brass is made from copper and zinc and has a golden lustre. A natural patina will develop over time giving it a matte finish.

1. To remove dirt, use a brass cleaner like Brasso.

2. To finish, use our polishing cloth to remove patina and restore shine. Maintaining long up and down strokes to clean the jewellery. Be sure to use different parts of the cloth to avoid spreading any tarnish.

SILVER

Sterling silver is an alloyed metal, normally made of 92.5% pure silver and other metals.

1. Mix 1/2 cup of white vinegar with 2 tablespoons of baking soda in a bowl of lukewarm water. Let the silver soak for two to three hours.

2. Remove jewellery and gently rinse and dry.

If your brass or silver jewellery is darkened or appears dirty, then it has patined; patina is simply the result of a chemical reaction with oxygen or sulfur particles in the air.

ROPE

1. Fill a bowl with lukewarm water and add a few drops of mild dish soap

2. Dip a clean cloth in the water and gently wipe.

Jewellers Brass: Jewellers brass is composed of Copper and Zinc. Brass has metaphysical healing properties to boost the immune system and give courage.

Titanium Pins: Titanium is the most biocompatible hypoallergenic element available. It will not irritate even the most sensitive skin. Titanium is inert and non-reactive to almost all chemicals and will never corrode, tarnish or rust.

EXCHANGE POLICY

PICHULIK will gladly accept exchanges within 28 days of the date of purchase, provided that: 

Items are returned within 28 days of date of purchase or order delivery

Items are returned with the original sales receipt

Items are returned in their original condition, unworn, unaltered , unsoiled and undamaged, with all tags attached and in original packaging

Items are exchanged at the store they are purchased at. If items were purchased online, they are welcome to be exchanged at our Atelier on 8 Watson Street.

Alternatively items may be couriered back to us, please note that customers are responsible for return shipping costs, but should you need assistance, we are happy to arrange collection with our couriers for R100 one way or R190 return. Products being exchanged must be unworn and undamaged.  

REPAIR POLICY

Items are classified as faulty if they are not of a satisfactory quality, fit for purpose or as described. Please note that items which are damaged as a result of normal wear and tear, by accident, or through misuse will not be considered faulty. PICHULIK items that are received damaged or become damaged as a result of a manufacturing fault within six (6) months of purchase are considered faulty. Items that become damaged as a result of normal wear and tear are not considered to be faulty. If your PICHULIK item is faulty when you receive it, please fill out this exchange form here, within 7 days of receipt.

Our customer care associates will revert within 48 hours of receiving your email with a reference number, postage return address, and feedback on the next steps. Please return your faulty item for an exchange within 28 days from the date of purchase. 

PICHULIK will determine, in its sole judgment and discretion, whether the damage is as a result of normal wear and tear or some other reason.

If you have owned your item for longer than 6 months, you are not eligible for an exchange. 

After the 6-month period a repair cost will be charged. 

PICHULIK has made every effort to display the colours of our products that appear on pichulik.com as accurately as possible. However, as computer monitors, tablets and mobile devices vary, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display or a colour will be completely accurate.
